Lincoln Center Stage is a collaboration with "Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts" (NYC) featuring classical/chamber music with a quintet combining piano and strings. The complimentary two-deck dining room is open daily for breakfast, lunch (on sea days) and dinner. Apart from a few fun lighting fixtures, the space is fairly neutral and nondescript, leaving all eyes on the food itself, and it doesn't disappoint. In my opinion, the Rotterdam cruise ship offers a very good, big-ship experience. There is excellent dining in the specialty restaurants and the live music options are outstanding. Holland America Line’s Rotterdam cruise ship has tempting specialty restaurants as well as great live music venues.

Elevators and accessible restrooms are available for all public (non-cabin) decks. Transfers to shore can be accommodated at most ports, and tender boats have a lift system allowing guests to roll on and off tenders. While I enjoy the music, neither room has won me over in terms of decor. Both venues seem unnaturally dark and devoid of color, unlike the bright, jazzy spaces on the line's past vessels. They're separated by a spiral staircase that leads up to Deck 3 and the ship's moderately-sized casino, and by Notes, an under-used whiskey tasting alcove which offers 120 different labels, but never seems to be manned.
